Dubai, UAE — March 12, 2024 — Fashion Revolution UAE, a community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering sustainability and transparency within the fashion industry, is excited to announce the upcoming Fashion Revolution Week. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Fashion Revolution UAE invites fashion enthusiasts, designers, students, and sustainability advocates to join in a week-long celebration of innovation, education, and creativity.
This year’s theme: How to be a Fashion Revolutionary
This year’s Fashion Revolution Week theme, “How to be a Fashion Revolutionary,” encapsulates the essence of the movement – inspiring individuals to rethink their relationship with fashion and embrace sustainable practices. From April 15th to April 21st, participants will have the opportunity to engage in panels, interviews, workshops, and explore a sustainable souk featuring eco-conscious products. Additionally, attendees can participate in a clothes swap, fostering a culture of reuse and circularity.
The Showcase: Calling All Creators and Fashion Enthusiasts
As part of the festivities, Fashion Revolution UAE presents “The Showcase,” an extraordinary opportunity for aspiring designers, hobbyists, sewists, and fashion lovers to showcase their creativity on the runway. We invite individuals who can stitch their own clothes to submit their designs and join us in bringing sustainable fashion and creativity to the forefront.
How to Apply for The Showcase:

Submit three drawings of a mini collection that embody sustainability principles, such as upcycling materials or using organic fabrics.
Deadline for submissions: March 15th, 2024. Recently extended to March 22nd, 2024, by popular demand.
Selected participants will be notified on March 25th, 2024. From that day until April 20th, 2024, participants will have the opportunity to bring their designs to life, conceptualize their runway presentation, and prepare their models, makeup, hair, and music to captivate visitors during Fashion Revolution Week.
