Nowadays, more and more businesses are prioritising their sustainability efforts, various associations and organisations across the world have made it their sole purpose to create a better and sustainable environment for this and the upcoming generation.

Spanning the fashion industry, climate change activists, tree planting initiatives and many more, the sustainable brands journal has ranked the world’s top associations and organisations which are making a positive and lasting impact for everyone.

Sustainable organisation

Here are some of the top sustainable organisations doing good for the planet

1. Greenpeace

This brand is passionate about protecting the natural world from destruction with a vision of a greener and healthier planet, one that can sustain life for upcoming generations.

Greenpeace is fully independent of government or political funding that enables the organisation to push for a real change. This is achieved through documentations, investigations and exposing the causes for environmental destruction.

2. Rainforest Alliance

The Rainforest Alliance is a non-profit organisation working in more than sixty countries at the intersection of agriculture, business and forest. It is an alliance to create a better and healthy future for people and nature.

By bringing various allies together, this organisation is making deep rooted changes on some of the most pressing environmental and social issues. They aim to amplify the voices of forest and farmer communities, protect biodiversity, improve livelihoods and help people to mitigate and adapt climate change in effective ways.

3. 350.org

As a global grassroots movement, this organisation is on a mission to solve the climate crisis. With mass public actions and online campaigns, 350.org leads from the bottom up by numerous volunteer organisers in over 188 countries.

The organisation works hard to organise in an innovative way – everywhere at once, using various tools to facilitate strategic action. Currently, the organisation has staff working in 23 countries globally. 350.org is also on a rapid growth trajectory, as it has grown its budget 400% since it was established in the year 2011.

4. Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

It is a non-profit international marine life conservation organisation which was established in 1977.The organisation aims to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife, in order to protect species and ecosystem. Sea Shepherd Conservation Society uses innovative direction strategies to document, investigate and take necessary action to confront and expose illegal activities on the seas.

5. One Tree Planted

Since its establishment, the organisation has been very dedicated to make it easy for both businesses and individuals to give back to the planet, protect biodiversity, help reforestation efforts and create a healthy climate. So far, One Tree Planted has planted 92.2 million trees in more than 80 countries globally since 2014. In 2022, the organisation doubled its impact by planting more than 51.7 million trees.

Conclusion

<img decoding="async" src="https://thesustainablebrandsjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/youth-cleaning-forest-from-trash-1024x504.jpg" alt="Youth cleaning forest
