To lead the green economy, Germany must step up the competition – EconMin

A minister from the German economy addressed the Bundestag in Berlin, Germany during the budget debate on November 25, 2022. This is in the plenary hall of the German lower house of parliament, also known as the Bundestag, the German lower house of parliament.


In a bid to create a market for a climate-neutral and green industry, officials from the world’s largest economies are expected to compete in a bid to create a market leader, according to German Economy Minister Robert Habeck. He has called on Europe to step up its competition with the United States in this area.

The lower house of the Bundestag heard Habeck’s speech on Friday. He stated that Germany is mobilizing a significant amount of money in the form of green energy just like the American government is mobilizing. However, what must be done is to become faster and more decisive in applying those funds to the environment.
