This fashion brand deals with clothes and accessories for men and women alike. It is committed to sustainability in all aspects. From running programs like Bee the Change and For the Love of Planet for consumers to ensure their contribution to sustainable movements, they partner with non-governmental organizations and other institutions like Coral Gardeners committed to bringing positive change and preventing the extinction of bees and coral reefs. They use seaweed and C-fiber to produce products, along with compostable packaging. In addition, the goods are treated with Pprmint, an antibacterial oil obtained from peppermint leaves, in order to minimize the necessity of washing. Lastly, they use natural dyes in their clothes, produced from recycled fabrics.  This brand is saving space for waste in landfills and effectively contributing to providing aesthetics to its clothing line without harming the environment. 

2. Tentree – the tree planting record maker 

As the brand name suggests, Tentree is all about planting trees. This one brand has been aptly mindful of sustainability. From tags made with recycled paper, they package their products in paper rolls, tie them with a ribbon, and use a master polybag, which is also recyclable, to deliver bulk orders. Prominently, this brand is known for restoring Indonesian forests while sourcing cotton. Until now, the brand has planted 100,000,000 trees and aims to plant 1 billion trees by 2030. So far, this brand has already achieved carbon neutrality by 2020. 

3. Elvis and Kresse – the fire hose champion

Sustainable design label Elvis & Kresse has redefined luxurious accessories by carefully repurposing decommissioned fire hoses. The company not only reduces waste by repurposing materials from fire departments but also creates high-quality goods, such as bags and accessories, from industrial scraps. To be environmentally friendly, Elvis & Kresse uses recycled materials, is open about their business, and gives some of their income to groups that help firefighters and the environment.

4. Zero Waste Daniel – The genderless fashion 

Not only does this brand produce zero-waste products, but it also promotes the notion of genderless clothing. Zero Waste Daniel uses fabric scraps, pre-consumer trash from the clothing business in New York City, other materials that are hard to process, and recovered materials like cotton, polyester, and nylon.

5. Tonle – The mindful garment user 

This is also a zero-waste clothing brand that uses unused garments from other companies and manufacturers to make fashionable and aesthetic clothes. It is a major contributor to the circular economy since it upcycles materials, such as reclaimed threads and fabric scraps, into stylish and eco-friendly clothing.

6. Rothy – The shoe haute couture

This brand is a platform for shoe haute couture that was the first in the shoe line to receive sustainable LEED and TRUE platinum certification. Using threads from recycled plastic bottles and biodegradable packaging, they aim to achieve carbon neutrality by the end of 2023. They use 3D knitting technology that helps reduce waste and low waste-cutting technology, ensuring a greater contribution to the circular economy and production.  

7. Upcycle with jing – The PET bottle from the landfill to the jewellery shop

The jewelry business, Upcycle with Jing, adopts the practice of upcycling to produce environmentally friendly jewelery. The company uses recycled PET plastic bottles as a material source for crafting various types of jewelry, such as earrings, hairpieces, and brooches. The brand believes that the integration of sustainability and elegance is doable.

8. Rent the runway – the rental hub 

RTRW is a resale marketplace that has a comprehensive brand and clothing catalog. It is an alternative to always purchasing new clothes, a step toward circularity in the industry. Subscribers may have their clothing delivered in reusable bags and then have it dry-cleaned in an eco-friendly manner. The trend of renting clothing is appealing and should become more prevalent in the next year or two.

9. Paper London

Paper London is a high-end line of womenswear that features eco-friendly elements like recycled fabrics in its designs. They managed to get shortlisted for the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards in 2022. 
Paper London uses ECONYL, a nylon fiber that has been completely recovered from waste materials like fishing nets.

Clothing from Tradlands is manufactured by hand by local craftsmen in small quantities, and the company is committed to ethical and environmentally responsible practices because it ensures the reduction of waste and the avoidance of heavy machines that use a huge amount of our resources.
