Electric vehicles can be a key part of increasing productivity, sustainability, and efficiency for a lot of businesses and government agencies. An important part of Work Truck Week® 2023 will be the Green Truck Summit, which will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 7 as part of Work Truck Week® 2023, where industry professionals will provide insights and guidance on important topics such as specifying, integrating, financing, maintaining, and charging electric vehicles. There will also be updates on upcoming regulations regarding emissions and other environmentally friendly options such as anti-idling solutions and more efficient diesel engines.

There will be a work truck event called Work Truck Week in Indianapolis, Indiana, from March 7–10, 2023 at the Indiana Convention Center—the largest event for work trucks in North America. This event consists of a number of events, namely the Green Truck Summit, The Work Truck Show®, Ride & Drive, and more. The Green Truck Summit is going to be held at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, located adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center, on March 7, 2018. In the morning there will be two general sessions covering developments in battery technology and insights into the deployment of electric vehicles. The sessions will also cover challenges and factors that will influence the adoption of electric vehicles. We are excited to announce the new feature of this year’s Green Truck Summit; all attendees will be invited back to the venue for Bringing it Home – Green Truck Association Closing Session at 3:30 p.m.. Some of the most influential members and past presidents of the NTEA’s Green Truck Association are going to take the stage in order to summarize the day’s sessions, as well as to discuss issues affecting the work truck industry.

During the past few years, NTEA has been in the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution with its members on the front lines every single day, according to Kevin Koester, managing director of the NTEA. This is what we want them to do: They will help participants process everything they heard over the course of the day and give them a clear understanding of what is actually happening.”

An evening reception will be held at the conclusion of the event between 4 and 5 p.m. The Green Truck Summit Conference Package includes lunch and the reception, which are both included in the ticket price.

Besides the full day of intensive programs delivered by industry experts, government representatives, fleet operators, and manufacturers of vehicle equipment, registration to the Green Truck Summit include access to the exhibition hall, Ride & Drive, concurrent educational sessions and lunch on March 8–9, as well as access to on-demand educational materials after Work Truck Week 2023.
